Driven by a gritty film-noir story of diabolical dimensions, Renegade RX provides a gripping gameplay experience in and out of the action. From the eerie, windswept surrounds of a lawless suburbia to a bloody intergalactic war, the echoes of teardrops haunt the present like shadows of a forgotten destiny. In the middle stands one man - Jake Granite.

Torn from his wife and child, Jake seeks revenge on those who have destroyed his life. But when he encounters the mysterious Rick Datson and the enigmatic Obsidian Joe, he begins to question the very fabric of his existence, the passions of a resolution not yet complete. Things are not as they seem.

From forth the fatal origins of this bleakened future, Jake and his companion Curly stumble upon a plot so devious it threatens to destabilise time itself. What began as an impassioned quest to find Jake's family has become a race against the powers of evil and the forces of Darkness himself.

Bio: Jake Granite was once the top ranking fighter pilot in the Imperial Army, until forces beyond his control led to his dishonourable discharge. He did what all ex-fighter pilots did - started a pharmacy, and procreated. When the law moves out, trouble moves in, and Jake finds himself at the mercy of ruthless criminals hungry for blood and drenched in intimidation. As tensions approach boiling point, he stows them aboard a pharmaceutical supply ship, hoping to save them from the inevitable slaughter. Now all he has to do is find them again...

Bio: Gifted with intimate knowledge and understanding of mechanical equipment, Curly Dave is a fortunate sidekick in a story involving spacecraft and weaponry. His life is plagued with tragedy, having been orphaned before birth, and made destitute when his orphanage was razed to the ground. But tragedy, like the Wyrd Sisters in Macbeth, comes in threes. A savage twist of ironical fate sees Curly working for the galactic mafia, the same murderers responsible for the death of his parents and the theft of his childhood. Only this time, the paradigms have been reinterpreted...
